Transatlantic Travels

Connecting with our Gaelic and Celtic roots and colleagues- Jen heads across seas on an adventure of international research and cultural exchange.

Supported via Creative Scotlands Go See Share fund, Jen will be visiting remote areas of Ireland and Cape Bretton where traditional arts are embedded into the life and landscapes.

Exploring the historical connections of our traditional arts, cultures and communities, Jen will research and work with fellow peer and host artists Edwina Guckian, Jenny and Kenneth MacKenzie - and others.

We are delighted to see this project ignite and develop and of course, we want to hear how it goes!

Jen will be sharing the results of her travels, experience and discoveries later in the autumn through a range of in person and on-line presentations, discussions, chats and demonstrations.  We will keep you informed on dates/times/locations.

See links to some of the brilliant artists Jen will be working with on her Go See Share project.
