6 Feet, 3 Shoes

This exhilarating performance features 3 dancers and 2 live musicians. Chock full of percussive Flamenco, Scottish and Contemporary dance, live music and storytelling, 6 Feet, 3 Shoes brings vividly to life a true story of friendships that cross borders and generations. The story introduces us to three woman- all dancers - who met, shared their experiences and lives through their indigenous dance and music and forged a common language. They formed a new culture, new connections and life-long family connections.

6 Feet, 3 Shoes won awards for its sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2019, a Total Theatre Award and The Place nomination for Best Dance Production followed by a sell out tour the following autumn.

Back on the road in 2022, the show sold out its National UK tour to 46 rural venues, supported by Creative Scotlands Touring Fund and the Rural Touring Dance Initiative.

6 Feet, 3 Shoes has been endlessly supported by so many wonderful partners, promoters, venues, organisations and funders along its journey and has been performed over 100 times. Asleep for the moment, whilst we create new work, 6 Feet, 3 Shoes remains solid in our hearts with beautiful memories of artistic collaborations, all the incredible venues and communities we were priviledged to visit and dance with.
